READING IN PAIRS
Our school participates in an educational programme called Reading in pairs. Its objective is to develop the enjoyment of reading learning of those students belonging to 3rd level thanks to 5th level students action. 5th level students act as tutors and help them when reading by providing reading strategies and encouragement.

ITALY
Our
school meets the witnesses of the Second World War
This year our school joined the project “Commemorate the war to celebrate peace”, promoted
by the Association “SiciliAntica”. In the month of February our Institute invited Mr. Fonti Vincenzo and
Ms. Romano Maria Concetta, witnesses of the Second World War and the landing of
the Allies in Sicily.
The event took place in the Auditorium, where they spoke to the students about the incisive experiences of his own life during the War.
CZECH REPUBLIC
SKI TRAINING
In our school every year, children from 5th classes
and 7th classes have got one week a ski training. They can choose ski or snowboard. This year
we had from 5th classes: 12 snowboarders
and 19 skiers. Skiers has got 2 groups - Beginners
and Intermediate. And in 7th classes we had 23 snowboards (we had
two groups as in 5th classes) and 12 skiers. We had a perfect weather and snow conditions
were great too.

Teddy Bear Collection
Our school took part in ‘Teddy Bear Collection’.
Our students brought some new teddy bears, children’s books, colouring books,
jigsaw puzzles, board games, toys and art supplies. The presents were taken to
hospital and they were given children who suffer from cancer.
